During the Covid 19 outbreak, Bermuda Home Dialysis Services will follow all instructions and guidelines issued by the Bermuda Government. We ask all our patients to closely monitor this situation by visiting www.gov.bm.
Please note changes below that are in effect to protect our patients and our staff from contracting the infection:
BHDS clinic can be entered only as a scheduled appointment. Please call us if you need to visit even for a quick supplies pick up. Please wear mask when entering the clinic. The front door may be locked even when the staff is in the office. You will be asked to put mask on and we will be checking your temperature on entry.
All AMI supplies will be dropped off outside of your house. This is to prevent AMI staff from contracting the infection and spreading it to other patients. You will be responsible for bringing your supplies in.
If you develop fever and cough please call the clinic or the on call number. If you need to go to the ER please call our clinic or the on call number first. DO NOT ENTER THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WITHOUT MAKING PHONE CALL FIRST. This applies for any urgent visits.
Please keep all masks and hand sanitizer issued by BHDS for your own personal and dialysis purposes.
Please let BHDS staff know if you are tested for Covid 19.
If you have any questions about the current situation we are only phone call away. 295 8999
